Senior servant Sophia is about to learn firsthand what mortal life is like on earth as she is put in charge of the Testings of Devotion. Meanwhile Miriam and Faras struggle to give authority  to Ruth-the only mortal to ever be allowed on the First Level where up until now only the angels created before time had served.  When the Testing begins, it’s Ruth’s life (cut short by a son she adopted) that will bring insight to the angels about the reality of living on earth. The angels are finding through her life review how hard it is to stand strong in the face of adversities. The battle to save the mortal is intensifying and new measures must be carried out in heaven to win them away from Lucifer. 

Lucifer and his band of demons are wreaking havoc on the earth. Pulling angels away from their posts, he is constantly luring them to earth with his lies in an effort to carry out his evil plot to destroy mankind. But chaos is distracting the evil one himself - causing him to be even more vulnerable - while the angels in heaven are gathering together getting stronger by the minute.
